Food Allergy Alerts for people with nut allergy, milk allergy, egg allergy, wheat allergy, dairy allergy and food intolerance.

Register for food allergy alerts from alert4allergy.org to receive free email and text message alerts warning of product recalls and other incidents where packaged food has been wrongly labelled or contaminated with nuts, milk, gluten other allergens. Food allergy can be unpredictable and dangerous and we particularly recommend anyone with nut allergy or peanut allergy to register even if you have never had a severe allergic reaction or anaphylactic shock.

How it works

More often than you would imagine (around once a week) wrongly labelled food, dangerous to people with allergies, ends up on the shelves. alert4allergy.org allows food companies to alert you by email, SMS text message or telephone voice message when they spot a mistake (for example nuts where they should not be). Food companies can also warn you about recipe changes to familiar products. If you have a food allergy, simply register, telling us what you're allergic to and how best to contact you.

The service is completely free and, we don't bombard you with irrelevant text alert messages and emails every week - we will only send you alerts relevant to your particular allergy.

We guard your privacy jealously and will never sell or disclose any of your personal details (see our privacy policy for more details).
