Waitrose own-brand Frozen Chicken Breast Chunks
Waitrose has recalled an affected batch of Frozen Chicken Breast Chunks 300g due to the unintentional presence of egg, which is not declared. Some packs may contain traces of egg which is not declared and which makes this product unsafe for individuals who are allergic to egg.
Waitrose has undertaken a full product recall. Product recall notices will appear in the national press from 4 November 2006. In addition, point-of-sale notices have been displayed in all stores.
These notices will advise customers of the reason for the recall and the actions they can take if they have already purchased the affected product.
The recall affects Waitrose Chicken Breast Chunks 300g (Frozen), with a best before end: Oct 07 date.
